This is about supporting our registered providers to increase affordable housing in Dorset and making the best use of existing stock.
We already support and enable our partners to develop affordable housing. We will encourage more affordable housing at lower rents.
We aim to support downsizers to be paired with overcrowded households, so they can swap. By identifying households in adapted homes they no longer need, we can help them to find and exchange with households that do require adaptations.
