There are two health walks in Weymouth which are mostly flat.

The route taken on the day is agreed at the beginning of the walk and is dependent on the ability and preference of those attending.

All abilities are welcome and the walk can stretch out to different paces. There is no pressure and no one is ever left behind as the pace of the walk is dictated by the rear walker. Our walks last approximately 45 minutes.

Dogs on a discretionary basis, please get in touch with the local contact before attending.

Come along each week to enjoy a free guided health walk with your dog.

Mondays (excluding bank holidays) at Lodmoor Country Park at 1pm to 2pm.

Dogs must remain on fixed leads throughout the walk. Please bring a drink and a water dish for your dog, and dog poo bags, we will always carry spare bags just ask. The walks will be on public footpaths, which will be accessible for those with mobility difficulties.

No need to book, just turn up on and enjoy a walk. Please note normal car parking charges apply.

If you are a new walker to the health walk scheme, we ask that you complete an annual Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire on arrival. Please allow an extra 10 minutes to complete the form. We ask you to complete this once a year or if your health condition changes.
