Book of Remembrance at Weymouth Crematorium
The Books of Remembrance are displayed within the Remembrance room which is open daily from 9am to 4.30pm at Weymouth Crematorium.
The book will be set to the current date but can be changed to a date of your choosing.
Book of Remembrance
The inscription is a permanent entry recorded on the date of your choice, and may consist of either a 2 line, 5 line or 8 line inscription. You can add to this with an illustration of your choice such as flora or fauna, regimental badges or a design of your own.
The lettering, carried out by professional calligraphers and artists, is hand written in the finest traditions of medieval illuminated manuscripts, with the volumes being richly bound and tooled.
Personal keepsakes
We are aware that that friends and relatives may wish to have a copy of the inscription as it appears in the Book of Remembrance, not only as a personal keepsake but also to send to those who cannot easily visit the crematorium to view the original entry. For this purpose we offer memorial cards and miniature books.
