Events and workshops
There were 2 large nature recovery themed events:
- Dorset Local Nature Partnership Annual Forum
- A farmers and landowners event
These free events at the George Albert Hotel were attended by over 270 people and provided an opportunity to:
- update everyone on the Dorset local nature recovery strategy
- showcase those delivering nature recovery
- allow delegates to ask questions and input into workshops and discussions
The contributions from delegates will input into the strategy.

On 29 February 2024, people and organisations in Dorset took to social media to share what's being done to help nature in our county.
23 partners took part using the hashtags #LeapIntoNature and #NatureRecoveryDorset over the day creating good introductory engagement on local nature recovery in Dorset.
