General Election postal votes
If you have not received your postal vote for the General Election on 4 July 2024, please call us on 01305 838299 so that a replacement can be issued.
As a result of the announcement by Reach South Academy Trust of the proposed closure of Parkfield School in BCP, we will be supporting Dorset residents to secure an alternative school place.
Today (14 June 2024) is the start of a listening period running until 12 July 2024. Comments and contributions can be emailed to: listening@reachsouth.org.
We appreciate that this may be a difficult time for families but we will continue to support you all to make sure that every Dorset child wanting a place at a Dorset school has one for September 2024.
You will not be offered an alternative place automatically but will be allocated places through a normal school admissions application. You can apply using our ‘moving school partway through the year’ page.
Offers of any new place in a Dorset School may not be finalised before 12 July 2024 (the end of the listening period) and may depend on the final decision to close the school.
