With two walks every Tuesday, our walk leaders are a friendly bunch providing all the advice and encouragement a new walker needs to build fitness at a pace that’s right for them.
The morning walks are ideal as an introduction to our scheme and are perfect for the less able and those recovering from illness or injury. We often split into two groups to suit the varying abilities of those attending, but there is always a walk of about twenty minutes, on the flat, along the seafront.

If you are new to the health walk scheme, we ask that you complete an annual PARQ before attending your first walk. This should be updated once a year or if your health condition changes. If you are unable to complete the PARQ online, contact the Health and Activity team for assistance.
