The aim of the project was to open up the Streetlight Centre to lower the hourly cost of entry to young people from £5 to £1. This allowed 25 people an hour, over 6 hours a day, providing cheaper access to skate in a safe and welcoming environment.
The project was a great success, offering riding to lots of people who would not otherwise be able to access the skate park over the summer.
To encourage children with SEND by offering early sessions which did not play music and where numbers were restricted.
Around 500 people used our £1 per hour sessions over the summer holiday period.
400 hours of volunteering with 10 volunteers.
