The Property team deals with a wide range of transactional and advice work in a group that is friendly, approachable, and supportive. The Council’s portfolio of properties comprises a diverse range of land and buildings including industrial units, hotels, schools, farms, and open spaces such as country parks. The work includes sales and purchases, leases, licences, easements and wayleave and telecoms access agreements and other specialised legal documents. We work closely with various departments within the Council including Assets and Property, Housing, Planning and Highways and with some of the other teams in Legal Services. Above all the work is varied and interesting - and sometimes challenging and innovative as well.
