Weather disruption
Winter weather is causing disruption to services in some parts of the county. Find out what services may be affected in your area.
Digital newspapers are now available from BorrowBox. They are no longer available through Libby (Press Reader).
To access digital newspapers on BorrowBox:
If you need a PIN reminder, visit the library account login page and select 'Forgot my PIN.'
If you already use BorrowBox you will need to be connected to the internet to see digital newspapers for the first time. This will allow your device to ‘sync’ to enable the digital newspapers tab to appear.
All titles can be accessed simultaneously by an unlimited number of library members, and previous editions will also be available.
As of 19 May, our contract with Press Reader (Libby) has ended and we have a new contract with BorrowBox.
Although the new collection is smaller it is more targeted. It includes more local and regional titles, including Exeter Express & Echo, Frome Standard, Plymouth Herald, Somerset Guardian, Wells Journal & Western Gazette, with many more to follow in the coming weeks and months.
New to digital? Visit Libraries West for a quick guide to getting started.
