Children’s Services commission a vast range of services for children, young people and their families. This is a list of resources for our contracted providers.
Keeping children and young people safe
The following information helps keeps children and young people safe:
- our safeguarding standards for contracted children’s services detail requirements all contracted providers must follow
- our health and safety guidance for alternative provision has useful links and information
Business Continuity Plans
Our contracts require providers to have adequate Business Continuity Plans and associated contingency arrangements in place to ensure minimum disruption if a major incident affects the ability to provide services, for example:
- a pandemic
- exceptionally bad weather
- fuel shortages
- power outages
- cyber threats
If you are tendering for a contract or to join a framework, you will be required to submit your Business Continuity Plan. If you are awarded a contract you will be required to review the plan as new risks emerge.
This business continuity planning guidance website is for the adult social care sector, but provides a useful overview for providers of services for people of all ages.
