Fresh air fitness for beginners

Using natural outdoor spaces and features, fresh air fitness is a fun session to help increase your heart rate and build strength. Each weekly session may use different areas and activities, so no week will be the same.

Sessions are:

  • suitable for adults and perfect for beginners every Tuesday morning 
  • 10am to 11am
  • £5 per person or you can buy 11 sessions for £50
  • at Moors Valley Country Park, Golf and Activity Centre, BH24 2ET

Sessions exclude Dorset school holidays.

Complete your Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ) 

If you are a new participant to the Fresh Air Fitness classes, a returning participant or if your health condition has changed, please complete an annual PARQ before attending the activity.

Tai Chi for beginners courses

Tai Chi combines deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements. It is ideal for people wanting to raise their activity levels gently and gradually.

These 4 week blocks are suitable for everyone, learning foundational skills for longevity and wellbeing while having fun outdoors in nature at Moors Valley Country Park, Golf and Activity Centre.

Free outdoor fitness circuits

If you have thought about doing a bit of exercise that will raise your heart rate and burn some calories, then come along to these fun instructor led sessions that are outside in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Sessions are free and can turn up. Please bring a mat or towel.

Park Yoga

Park Yoga is a charity that provides free outdoor yoga sessions. Every Sunday morning throughout the summer from May to September for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
