There is usually is an information board on site at roadworks detailing who is responsible for the activity. If you have a question, complaint or comment, you need to contact the organisation responsible for the work.
We have a statutory duty to inspect roadworks while they are being carried out and once they are finished, but we can't check all roadworks. Most of the time, work happens and concludes without any issues. See more information about how we can manage roadworks.
