Dorset Council is about to submit a compulsory purchase order to the Secretary of State for 26 East Street, Blandford Forum. If the order is confirmed, it will authorise Dorset Council to purchase compulsorily that land for the purpose of facilitating its improvement.
Any objection to the order must be made in writing to:

Objections need to be sent by 1 April 2024 and should state the following:
- the title of the order
- the grounds of objection
- the objector’s address and interests in the land

26 East Street, Blandford Forum, DT11 7DR is a 3-storey listed building on the North side of East Street. The building is about 100m west of the junction with Damory Street. The building is situated between the entrance to East Street Hall (the Ginger Viking Bar) and Artisan House (22-24 East Street).
