To get rid of big household items like fridges, TVs, washing machines, sofas, beds and mattresses you can:
- take them to your local household recycling centre
- book a bulky waste collection through Dorset Reclaim. Depending on the quality of the items you are looking to have collected and whether they can be re-used, there may or may not be a charge.

Dorset Scrapstore collects clean, non toxic, unwanted materials donated by industry, commerce and individuals, then makes these materials available to the community as a valuable low cost resource, for example, schools and community groups.
