Local Transport Authorities have a statutory duty to prepare and update a Local Transport Plan for their area. Our current Local Transport Plan 2011 to 2026 was produced in 2011 and a lot has changed since then. Our new draft Local Transport Plan 2026 to 2041 will set out the long-term goals, strategy, and policies for improving transport for everyone over the 15 years. You can see our new draft plan and current plans below.
