Weather disruption
Winter weather is causing disruption to services in some parts of the county. Find out what services may be affected in your area.
Slurry sealing is a low-cost preventative measure for footways which seals the surface from water ingress and provides a new texture.
Over time, footways can suffer minor damage as it is patched from utility company access and the surface can lose its texture.
Before slurry sealing, patching of larger damage is carried out as necessary. Adjacent driveways, gulleys and kerbs are taped to maintain their finish.
On the day, the slurry treatment is spread and brushed over the path to form a level, textured surface.
Paths being treated will need to be closed for the work to take place and will remain closed while the slurry sets.
To allow works to start on time and keep disruption to a minimum, there are a few things you can do to help us.
