Check your collection datesSome battery collections are conducted by food waste vehicles and others by recycling vehicles. Please don’t report your batteries are missed until both crews have attended and not before 4pm on bin collection day.

Please note that batteries can also be put out in a small, clear, plastic bag of your own. Household batteries can also be recycled at a variety of retailers. Check locally. All batteries, including those that can't be accepted at the kerbside, can be taken to a household recycling centre.
