Background papers have been prepared to inform the development of the Core Strategy Pre-Submission document.
The background papers set out the process of how draft policy within the Christchurch and East Dorset Core Strategy have been developed. They follow the Options for Consideration consultation from October 2010 to January 2011. They have involved consideration of the following:
- National and local policy
- Core Strategy 'Options for Consideration' consultation and ongoing engagement
- Sustainability Appraisal, Habitats Regulations Assessment, Health Impact Assessment and Equalities Impact Assessment
- The Local Development Framework Evidence Base
- Infrastructure delivery and viability
