This summer Dorset Council’s new Cabinet members have been asking residents to help shape their plans and priorities for the next five years.

Councillors and employees visited eight towns across the county to listen to what residents felt was important to them. There was also a chance for people to take part online or at libraries.

Cllr Ryan Hope, Cabinet Member for Customer, Culture and Community Engagement, said:

“It was great to see you in our towns this summer. Thanks to all who took part either in person, online or at our libraries. We listened to all of the ideas and concerns you have, and we will let you know how they have helped to inform our priorities for the next five years.”

A report on what priorities are important to the people of Dorset and how these will be built into the council’s plan for the next few years will be published soon.
