We are looking for new leaders to help run our twice weekly volunteer led Health Walks.
Come along to find out about what a Health Walk is, chat to some other leaders, go on the walk and then come back for a free tea or coffee. No obligation to sign up!
Tuesday 30 April 10am to 11:45am at Wimborne Library
Suitable for people who are looking to be more active or are returning from injury or illness. Sessions run for up 30 minutes and take place on flat ground or gentle slopes with mainly firm surfaces and no steps or stiles.
Suitable for people who are looking to increase their activity levels. Sessions run from between 30-60 minutes and may include some moderate slopes, steps and uneven surfaces.
If you are new to the health walk scheme, we ask that you complete an annual PARQ before attending your first walk. This should be updated once a year or if your health condition changes. If you are unable to complete the PARQ online, contact the Health and Activity team for assistance.
