Weather disruption
Winter weather is causing disruption to services in some parts of the county. Find out what services may be affected in your area.
Contact the SEN Travel Team if you have an urgent change to report.
If you have moved address then you are required to re-apply for transport. This is because your original transport eligibility and arrangements were based on the address you last lived in.
You need to contact your SEND Provision Lead and let them know of the change, they will then assess your eligibility and talk through re-applying.
Update us on any changes to your contact details so we can contact you with any changes or in the case of an emergency.
You must re-apply for school transport if you've moved schools. As your original transport eligibility and arrangements were based on travelling to your last school.

If you need to change the times or days that you travel, it is important to tell us as soon as possible. It can sometimes take several weeks to change a current route so the more notice we get, the sooner we can make the changes.

To ensure your safety you must let us know if your medical care plan has changed. Contact us by email to: sentravelteam@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk with an updated copy of your care plan.
If you no longer require transport, or will not be using transport for the foreseeable future, please email us at: dt@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk
Someone else may benefit from your seat.
This doesn't affect your right to school transport should you change your mind.
