Gorwell Farm

Gorwell Barn is a relaxed setting where you can express who you are as a couple. Your own tastes and preferences can shine through in every detail due to the flexibility of the venue, giving you the freedom to design your own day. You will be given all the support you need and ample inspiration whilst also recommending but not insisting on a range of suppliers. 

The venue, in its own secret valley, has plenty of space for eating and dancing, complete with well-equipped comfortable cottages to stay in and a field for glamping. The 17th Century barn retains all its period character and atmosphere but has been equipped with elegant toilets, underfloor heating, inside and outside bar areas and a large commercial kitchen for use by your caterers. The farm has a license to hold legal wedding ceremonies in three areas. The Barn itself is licensed, as is one of the cottages for small intimate weddings. If you're dreaming of an outdoor ceremony, the pagoda is perfectly located within sight of the Barn, in a pretty wooded area. The large terrace area in front of the Barn can also be used for wedding ceremonies as it offers the chance of moving inside if the weather turns, and the extensive grounds around the Barn are ideal for a marquee or gazebo if needed.

Also available are mid-week elopement weddings with a small intimate ceremony, a fabulous meal provided by local caterers and then accommodation for one or two nights. This gives you the chance to create a very personal wedding with a small number of guests or even just yourselves.
