Upwey Wishing Well and Tea Rooms

Located in the picturesque village of Upwey in the heart of the Dorset countryside, the Wishing Well Tea Rooms and Water Gardens offers a unique and versatile blank canvas for your wedding theme and wedding photography. Ceremonies can take place among the impressive subtropical gardens, or in the restaurant for all-weather flexibility. Your wedding menu will be designed for you using produce sourced from local suppliers and farmers within a 20-mile radius of the venue. There is the facility to offer buffets, hog roast, BBQs and paellas, combined with traditional garden picnics. All the food is homemade including cakes, breads, puddings and scones.

For your reception, there is an option to include a marquee, an outside bar among the natural ponds, and outdoor food stations hidden in magical spots. They are licensed to host music inside the venue and also have access to a quirky school hall adjacent to the venue, which can host an additional 100 reception guests. There are a range of fixed-price packages, such as the Gin and High Tea option, allowing you to plan your wedding to suit your budget.
