Shaftesbury Town Hall

The Town Hall, built in the early 1800s, is located in the High Street at the top of historic Gold Hill. Ceremonies are held in the Council Chamber, which is located on the first floor. The room can accommodate up to 55 guests and yet still provide a cosy and intimate feel for smaller occasions. With a traditional air, the Council Chamber is the perfect setting; it commands a dignified and historically interesting presence with a wood panelled display case and scene-setting chandelier. The venue offers, as standard, wooden turned pillars to create a walkway, silk flower arrangements and white chair covers with sashes.
