I am the founder member and titular head of The Wimborne Militia who are commissioned by WMTC to undertake ceremonial duties. I undertake this as a volunteer and do not receive any remuneration for this. WMTC make an annual payment (a contribution) towards The Wimborne Militia's cost of public liability insurance.

As above. I am also a volunteer for WMTC and am appointed as The Town Mayor's Serjant & Town Crier of Wimborne Minster. I undertake ceremonial duties, make announcements and assist businesses in the town with unpaid publicity events as requested and I liaise with the Wimborne Business Improvement District (B.I.D.) in events that promote the town. WMTC make an annual payment for my membership and public liability insurance to The Ancient & Honourable Guild of Town Criers and The Loyal Company of Town Criers.
Public opinion
General control or management of any organisation or body directed to charitable purposes
I am the founder member and titular head of The Wimborne Militia who will support charities when requested at their events and on occasion collect money for them for example The Town Mayor's Charities. I am a volunteer speaker for the Commonwealth War Graves Foundation and help raise funds for them by delivering talks and lectures. I receive no payment for these roles and might occasionally be paid expenses incurred such as fuel costs.

I am a member of the Labour Party and a retired member of National and Local Government Officer's Association. I am also an ordinary member of The National Trust, English Heritage, British Polio Fellowship, Disabled Drivers Association, The Commonwealth War Graves Foundation, The Great War Group, OxVox and The Royal British Legion.
